Our TimberCulture ordering app uses a limited number of storage technologies necessary to operate the service and provide certain customer preferences.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads tracking, Meta/Facebook Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar or other advertising or remarketing technologies within the TimberCulture ordering app.
Essential Base44 technologies
Our ordering service is provided using Base44.
The app uses the following local-storage items for authentication and technical operation:

These technologies are used for authentication, security and the technical operation of our ordering service.
Where a technology is strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested, consent may not be required.
4. Preference and functionality storage
The TimberCulture ordering app also uses limited storage to remember choices and improve navigation.

These technologies are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
5. Google Maps
Our ordering service may use Google Maps to show delivery locations within the My Orders section.
Google Maps is a third-party service provided by Google. Loading an embedded Google Map may allow Google to store or access information on your device.
Where consent is required, the Google Maps service will not be loaded until you choose to enable or view the map.
If you choose to enable Google Maps, Google's own privacy and cookie practices apply to its service.
You can continue to use the core TimberCulture ordering service without enabling Google Maps.
6. Payments
Stripe
If you choose to pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay where available, TimberCulture may redirect you to a secure payment page provided by Stripe.
The Stripe payment page is hosted by Stripe rather than TimberCulture.
Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies on its own service for purposes including:
Processing payments;
Authentication;
Security; and
Fraud prevention.
Because the payment page is operated by Stripe, Stripe's own privacy and cookie information also applies when you use its service.
PayPal
If you choose to pay using PayPal, you may be redirected to a payment service operated by PayPal.
PayPal may use cookies and similar technologies on its own service for payment processing, authentication, security and fraud prevention.
PayPal's own privacy and cookie information applies when you use its service.
7. Base44 activity information
When a registered TimberCulture customer uses the ordering app, Base44 may record information about which pages of the app are visited.
This activity information is recorded server-side and does not itself involve placing an additional cookie or local-storage item on your device.
We may use this information to understand use of the TimberCulture ordering service and help operate and improve the service.
It is not used by TimberCulture for third-party advertising or remarketing.

8. Analytics and advertising
The TimberCulture ordering app does not currently use:
Google Analytics;
Google Tag Manager;
Google Ads conversion tracking;
Meta/Facebook Pixel;
Microsoft Clarity;
Hotjar; or
Advertising or remarketing technologies.
If we introduce analytics, advertising or other tracking technologies in the future, we will review our consent requirements and update this Cookie Policy accordingly.
Where consent is legally required, relevant technologies will not be activated before the appropriate consent has been obtained.

You can control or delete cookies and other stored information through your browser settings.
